How to Buy
When using our website, to purchase an item , please click on the Add to cart button.You then have the option to pay manually by direct bank transfer or credit card payment over the phone or you can be sent through to our Secure payment site, Paypal. If you already have a paypal account please follow the instructions. Please do not hesitate to contact us during the office hours Tel 09 407 5146 if you have any queries regarding this.
Cheques
If you wish to pay by cheque, please print out the order form, and post it to us with your cheque. Make cheques payable to, The Parrot Place Ltd, please put your home address and telephone number on the back of the cheque. Please make sure that the cheque is dated on the day that you send it in with your order, making sure that the cheque has been filled our correctly, otherwise we will not be able to present it to the bank and your order will not be sent. All cheques need to be cleared before products are sent out, this normally takes upto 5 working days, so please allow for this when purchasing by this method.

When using the The Parrot Place website to purchase items, postage and packing are determined by weight and area and will show on check out .Please contact us if you have any queries.

Delivery
Orders confirmed before 1pm will be usually despatched the following day.
Orders confirmed after 1pm will usually be despatched within the next 2 working days (Mon – Fri), (unless paying by cheque).
Please allow 2-3 working days for your goods to arrive. Please note that our ability to keep to these times is sometimes limited by the area in which you live, ie, South Island, rural delivery, etc.
Deliveries are made during working hours and may require a signature.
Stock availability
Sadly, we cannot guarantee we will have all the items in stock all of the time. However, if an item is out of stock when you place the order, we will tell you when we have more coming in. If you can wait, then we will put your order on to our back order system and send you out the goods as soon as they arrive. In the event that we cannot meet our normal delivery times, we will notify you of the expected delivery date by e-mail, and give you the option to cancel your order.
Missing deliveries
If you think the delivery of your goods is overdue, please contact our office during the working hours stated. It may be worthwhile contacting your local postal sorting office as it is possible that they have already tried to deliver your goods but were unable to.
Returns
Our products are manufactured and chosen with great care and attention and we hope you feel the same way about them. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchases, please return them to us, unused with the original packaging, within 14 days of payment and we will be happy to exchange or refund the items at the price you paid for them. All items must be returned unused and fit for re sale.
Please fill out the returns form we send in your original parcel to tell us whether you would like an exchange or a refund. We recommend sending returns by recorded delivery and keeping proof of postage, as we cannot be held responsible for packages that fail to reach us. Please note that we are not responsible for return postage costs, other than for an incorrect or faulty item.
